Event: Free Comic Book Day 2017 [FCBD 2017]

Check BookDepository. It's FCBD! They may have Discounted Sale on Graphic Novels
Free Delivery on all Calendars at the Book Depository

It was Free Comic Book Day yesterday. And yes! I went to Filbar's and Fully Booked to get Free Comics.

This year's FCBD was attended by a great number of people compare to last year's. I didn't expect the numbers. The line reached the 5th floor of SM Megamall (see below).

We are provided a Flash Pass, a ticket to get Free Comics. They do this so that the Mall operation will go smoothly without the disturbance of mass FCBD patrons waiting in their floors. I got the 4:41 PM - 5:00 PM queue. I went there as early as 10:00 AM, so I have to go window shopping, eat, sit and play my Pokemon Sun in my 3DS for 7 hours T_T

While waiting for almost 7 hours, I also dropped by at Fully Booked to get their Free Comics (1 pc.) too. Note, you get 2 pcs. Comics in Filbar's.

So, the day ends, here's my FCBD haul. I got three comics :)

  • Tomie by Junji Ito
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron Comic Magazine by Filbar's
  • Street Fighter V

UPDATE: Literateknolohitura Facebook Page Discontinues Shop Tab due to Several Issues

We are now turning Off the Shop tab in our Facebook page due to several issues.

A couple of years ago (year 2015), Facebook added a feature to their site. They've added a Shop tab for pages. I'm glad they made a Shop feature. I guess, they noticed more users used Facebook as a good venue for selling their stuffs. I shifted to use the new Shop tab leaving the traditional selling with using the photo album. But over the years, Facebook failed to fully develop this feature. I found several issues.

Do you use the Facebook Shop tab too? Or planning to use it? Be informed. See the issues i found below:

I buy books based from word of mouth, given awards and good reviews so I visited Goodreads to check if It's really good. I saw, It got several awards and convincing feedback from one of the author. It's my deciding factor. I went to different local bookstores to look for it. It's actually hard to find as I'm buying it after a year release. Luckily, I got my copy from Fully Booked.
